My name is Marius Alexandru Buzdugan, but you can call me Alex for short. I live in Bucharest, Romania.

Since I was young I was interested in technology and everything that was new in this field. I was always fascinated by computers and the software that runs them, and always raise the question: “how it’s made?”. My first steps in programming were on my personal computer, Commodore 64. After getting bored of playing the same games over and over again, I started learning the programming language called BASIC, to create my own small games. As the name says it, BASIC was very basic and had it’s limits. I’ve took some extra classes in school where I’ve learned C programming, and in high-school I’ve studied C++ and VisualBasic.

During the period when the Internet started to become main-stream, and more and more people starting using it, I’ve got very interested in web development. PHP was easy to adopt, because my previous C experience, and started playing also with Javascript.

Even though programming comes naturally to me, my curiosity got me also in the design face of web development. I am not an expert, but I can handle photo editing, and flash editing software. I migrated my interest in design also to the web. As the World Wide Web technology advances, also the capabilities to create beautiful user interactions, though JavaScript and HTML5.

My professional IT experience is over 10 years. I’ve started working at my faculty administration as a communication officer. Where some of my technical duties where to manage the site, create online apps for the ease of communication and help with the IT infrastructure. Then continued to work as a web developer at a web service provider company and as a freelancer on the side.

In the last 5 year I got into ad operation, where I found a more dynamic atmosphere that fits me better than the programming world. With my technical background it was really easy to adapt not only to trafficking but also ad serving operation (from small debugging, to full custom ad server integration). My design passion helped me with the creative side, where all my knowledge was put into use.
